Many christmas card companies plan ahead early. Corporate Christmas Cards always introduce a very generous early order discount as early as August to try and encourage its regular seasonal customers to place their orders when others are still hoping to top up the tans as the summer sun is fading way.  This helps take the strain off the factory in November when the majority of people suddenly realise that christmas is only weeks rather than months away and those last posting dates are looming ever closer.
