While donkeys watched their flocks by night. Children’s navity plays would not be the same if it wasn’t for tea towels (and the moment when Joseph drops the baby jesus). I can assure you that no donkeys were harmed in the production of this Christmas card. In fact, if those donkeys are not really wearing those tea towel scarves then how can we be sure they are really in Bethlehem….. that sand looks like Weston Super Mare sand to me !
A silver foil shepherds crook adds a touch of sparkle and since I have yet to see this design in the flesh yet I am not sure whether the stars are silver foil too. It would be a nice touch to see the star of Bethlehem with some added shine. By the time you read these we should have some free samples ready for request.
